Hey! Been a while since I posted. Today I´m bringing you a conversion piece I made recently. It´s the flamer/heavy stubber-gunner from the Dark Vengeance box with a chainsaw from a Cadian Sentinel. I was really happy when I got the hand bracket fit so nicely under the chainsaw, since it would be way to heavy to wield one-handed. I think it looks quite natural.

Hope you enjoyed it!

New and improved!

A new post with a new layout and new banners. A couple of months ago I finished the last of my old unfinished and unpainted models. It felt good. No, actually great! But I didn´t count on it being so boring not to have anything to work on. That´s the thing about life, I guess. You can´t see the forest until you´ve broken your nose on the branches.

My new project! A Space Marine Terminator Captain! I used the Marneus Calgar model since it really is awesome. With the new Fine Cast models I could´ve made it easy for myself but I bought the damn pewter one anyway. There where a whole lot of Ultramarine symbols to hide. I started by cut away the ends of his tabard but it didn´t look good so I made a new tabard of green stuff. I´m satisfied with the result even though I know there´s people out there who could´ve done it way better.

I have used lots of bitz for this model. I love mixing bitz from different places. I´ve started painting him and it looks awesome. More pictures are coming soon!

Blood for the Blood God!

Yes, it´s the battle cry of the World Eaters and everyone else who follows Khôrne. As I stated in my last post, I have been "pimping" my old Berzerkers and I´m totally satisfied with the result.
My old Skull Champion became a regular member of the squad and I bought the World Eaters Aspiring Champion as a replacement, but the helmets available wasn´t good enough so I also bought the new Khôrne Lord (on foot) since it comes with two sets of heads, one helmeted and one skullfaced. I´m really sorry for the lack of pictures but I´ll work on that too! Pictures are coming!

Another new project

I´m finihing my old badly painted models one by one. Khârn the Betrayer, Khôrne lord with Bloodfeeder and the Imperial Guard casuality from the old Cadian Command box. I´ve just started re-painting the wounded but still living Space Marine from the Space Marine Casualities blister I bought some time ago. It wasn´t that badly painted but my original intent with the model was to make a dying Death Company marine. The pose of the model just screams "FUCK YOU!!!!" and I love it to death.

I couldn´t do it without having an idea. I´m still working on my masterpiece. The novel about the P.I Frank Bishop, but I´ve gotten stuck, so I though I´d start another project. So, I´m starting a new project. I love writing. I love telling stories and the I know the Warhammer 40.000 universe well enough to tell a story about it. It may not be published officially but that doesn´t really matter. I´m going to write a story about this dying Space Marine and tell his heroic story. Space Marines live, breath and shit honour, courage and heroic deaths on the glorious battlefield.

Please leave a comment if you dare. Over and out and STOP CALLING ME ROGER!

Projects

I have finally come to a place where I have painted almost all my figures. This doesn´t mean that I´m qutting the hobby, far from it. I am just in a form of balance where I can buy new stuff without having a bad conscience for letting my old figures go unloved. I´m not there yet though. I have several projects going and need various parts to complete my old projects that for some reason or other I have failed to accomplish.

I bought the "Assault on Black Reach" box and split it with an old friend and comrade in arms. It´s a terrific starter set for beginners but also a good way to add unique models to an existing army. This box contain everything you need to play a small battle between two armies, the mighty Space Marines and the always battle hungry Orks. I do play Space Marines but the models I was intrested in were the orks. I am two models away from completely having painted everything I bought in the box.

I have also finished my Death Watch Kill Team. Sort of. I am done with what I set out to do but I found a way to add three more members to that squad. I am also converting a Killa Kan (Orks) and have a cool idea for another Killa Kan so that´s another project to start on. I wasn´t satisfied with how my World Eaters (Chaos Space Marines) looked. They were the first models I ever painted and that´s about five years ago and since I have gotten so much better and much more efficient at painting I thought I would give them a make over too. They´re currently residing in paint remover.
My beloved Space Hulk box is a treasured possession of mine but I´m not happy about the look on my Genestealers (Tyranids) so I am going to give them a make over too.

These, in addition to a few pewter models, are my on-going projects right now. I know it sounds like a lot, and by every right, is a lot but I´ll get through it.

Facing my Daemons

For too long now my beloved Daemonettes of Slaanesh have stood dormant. They have gone unloved year after year. The lastest codex for Chaos Space Marines really screwed up the rules for daemons. Instead of letting every Chaos God have his own specific daemons they are all now classified as Lesser Daemons or Greater Daemons. The Lesser Daemons really suck! Hopefully they get a better chance in the next codex...
